Facilities & Business Support

One of the largest divisions at hyf, our consultants have unrivalled specialist knowledge of facilities with a combined experience of more than 20 years. This gives us a deep understanding of how the facilities structure works, and we know the difference between outsourced and in-house facilities, and soft and hard services.

Career temps
As market leaders we have a huge advertising budget with blanket exposure across all job boards. This gives us a vast pool of new candidates in addition to our large bank of tried and tested career temps, many of whom been with hyf for several years. We always get to know each person in depth, with interviews typically lasting more than half an hour and most candidates seen by more than one consultant. Detailed notes are taken and each applicant completes a comprehensive registration pack.

We only take on people who are committed, reliable and articulate with a strong work ethic and a professional corporate image. In personality, we look for those who are keen and eager with a flexible approach and a ‘can do’ attitude.

Candidate checks
We aim to provide a service that is bespoke and fits our clients needs; so alongside our rigorous compliance checks, which fully adhere to the REC Code of Professional Practice, we also have a dedicated administration team who work to reference all candidates for up to five years if required. Candidates’ skills can also be analysed in our in-house testing suite, where we have purpose designed software for MS packages including Word, Excel, copy typing, data entry and reception room booking systems. Our clients can be sure that all their individual criteria for temporary or permanent staff can be met.

Feedback
To ensure the consistency of our temporary workforce and underpin the quality of our service, clients are asked to evaluate our temporary staff after each booking. These statistics and scores are recorded and monitored on a regular basis and based on this feedback 99% of our clients have said they would re-hire our temporary candidates.
