Creative Artworker

Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm

 

Our client, a professional services firm based in the heart of the City, is looking for a highly skilled Creative Artworker to join their team for a one month temporary holiday cover. You will be supporting the creation and amendments of a range of corporate design documents across both print and digital formats. You will have comprehensive print knowledge, but also be comfortable working across digital templates such as email invitations and newsletters.

 

Specific requirements of the role will be to update existing print and digital documents with amended copy, images or graphs, and the creation of new artwork from existing templates. The creation of infographics, photo retouching and image searches will be required as well as PowerPoint skills.

 

The ideal candidate should be fast, very accurate and a real multi-tasker. The role is pivotal to freeing up the time for the current design team, taking on small amendments and design jobs.

 

The key responsibilities for this role will be:

  • Working with the creative team to ensure delivery of best practice and ensuring a seamless service
  • Taking responsibility for jobs being completed within the agreed timeframe
  • Attending regular team meetings to ensure a constant overview of workflow and any operational challenges/issues, and to help drive improvements
  • Building and actively developing good relationships with fellow colleagues and managing clients perceptions/expectations, taking job briefs and negotiating on deadlines
  • Producing work of a high standard in terms of accuracy and quality
  • Using the candidates expert knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Updating print and digital collateral, pitches or presentations
  • Prioritising effectively and schedule workloads with the studio manager
  • Liaising with clients in a professional and helpful manner
  • Setting up for lithographic and digital print
  • Dealing with stakeholders at all levels

 

The successful candidate must have the following skills to be considered:

  • Excellent eye for accuracy and consistency
  • Ability to work across platforms and software
  • Intermediate experience of PowerPoint and Word
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC
  • An appreciation and understanding of design
  • Excellent verbal and oral skills
  • Possess a critical eye for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Display an adaptable and flexible approach

 

This role requires the candidate to be quick, accurate and flexible across Microsoft Office and Adobe CC software.
